As a component of training, Austin Fire Equipment utilizes the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET).  Employees that obtain this certification are tested extensively on the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) regulations, OSHA 29 CFR 1910 regulations, and many other specialty areas.

We have employees that have obtained NICET certifications in the following catergories:                                          

• Automatic Sprinkler System Layout
• Inspection and Testing of Water-Based Systems
• Fire Alarm Systems
